DAY 1

This is the very first time I blog. This daily blog will record major events that happen to or around me, my family and friends, my homeland Vietnam, the States, and the world.

Today is Wed. 6/14/2012, the 3rd day I am on annual leave; however, having a bed-ridden mother who is 101 years of age, my family and I cannot go anywhere for vacation but to stay home so my wife Nguyet can take care of our mom.

Another reason for us not to go out of town is that I am busy and bound in my home-office to do interpretation over the phone. I do not mind that, and actually enjoy helping people, Vietnamese and American alike, to bridge their linguistic and cultural gaps.

That would be it for my first notation for today.
